Privacy Policy — LittleTok

LittleTok is built for children ages 4–16 and the parents who care for them. We take children's privacy seriously and follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, including GDPR-K), and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code.

What we collect

Account info (parent-provided): email, display name, age group of the child.
Learning progress: lessons completed, quiz answers, points, streaks.
Device & usage: anonymous session id, browser type, language, and event timestamps.
Parent PIN: stored hashed, used only to gate the parent area.

We do not collect a child's full name, address, phone number, photos, voice, location, or any data from third-party trackers.

How we use it

Personalize age-appropriate lessons.
Track learning progress so kids can see their streak and rewards.
Diagnose bugs and improve the app (aggregated, anonymous).

We never sell data and never serve third-party advertising to children.

Video content

Lessons embed videos from YouTube using the no-cookie domain (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may still set cookies once playback starts; please review their policy. Parents can disable video playback in the Parent area.

Parental rights

Parents may review, export, or delete their child's data at any time by signing into the parent area or emailing privacy@littletok.com. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention & security

Progress data is retained while the account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
